Cute pictures of pets and babies

Most women love babies….at least, that’s what we think.  Most women also love cute pets (at least pictures of cute pets, that is).  So, if you assume the underlying premises as true, then what better subject matter for a website catering to women than a websites about pets and babies?  That is exactly what the website PetandBaby.com has brought us.  The website focuses on one thing and one thing only, stories/pictures/videos of cute pets and babies together on one website.  Kudos to you PetandBaby, kudos!

Airline Deals: Spirit Airlines

Probably the best air travel deals I have seen of late have been on Spirit.com, the official website for Spirit Airlines.  I recently flew round-trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas for $1 plus taxes and fees (total came to $26).  The company recently went public and it seemed to me that they have a business model were rates for tickets are low, though they charge for all bags (other than a single carry on) as well as have some on air advertising banners on the overhead bins.  An interesting model.  Not for everyone, but if you are looking for the cheapest air fare and can pack light you should check them out at Spirit.com.

Everyone’s Favorite Mac n’ Cheese

If I had to die from eating one gooey, cheesy comfort food, it would have to be macaroni and cheese.  Can you blame me?  I think not.  I don’t know a single breathing being that doesn’t like homemade macaroni and cheese.  Simple cheesy goodness…a true comfort food.  While there are a plethora of macaroni and cheese recipes, only one tops them all, and this is IT!   It’s very easy to make, very tasty, and far better than the kind out of the box.  Trust me.   It’s to die for.   And the best part is…it only has 8 ingredients so it is super easy to go from throwing it together to munching it down in less than an hour.  Beat that.  I bet you can’t.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package elbow macaroni
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (12 ounce) container small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs

Directions

1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil, add pasta, and cook until done; drain.

2.  In 9×13 inch baking dish, stir together macaroni, shredded Cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Sprinkle bread crumbs over macaroni mixture.

3.  Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until top is golden.  Let it cool for 15 minutes and then wait for your family and friends to shower you with compliments!
